Movement Deep I - Workshop Series
Based on Tony Robbins's 6 Humans Needs, we are looking to understand where we are in our daily life, how we are covering our basic needs, what we need to experience more or less of, and what ways we can find to do so.
Time & Location
23 Sept 2018, 13:00 – 14:00
The Place, The Place, 20 Flaxman Terrace, Kings Cross, London WC1H 9AT, UK
About the event
This first Movement Deep workshop is a part of a series of movement workshops guided by coaching concepts such as the 6 Basic Human Needs developed by Tony Robbins, Boundaries Setting, Leading and Following, and Emotional States Management. The coupling of these two seemingly separate worlds stems from the premise that coaching is at its most effective when it is embodied and the body is in a peak state.
In this first workshop we will be focusing on two of the 6 Humans Needs. We use the needs as a tool to understand where we are in our daily life, what we need to experience more or less of, and what ways we can find to do so. We will explore the remaining Human Needs in subsequent workshops.
The type of movement we will be using has a release and healing-type of quality and is heavily influenced by contemporary dance movement, pilates, yoga, and social dance partnership concepts.
The workshops are very practical, we will be moving our bodies in all sorts of ways, so loose clothing and socks is required though no previous dance experience is necessary. What truly is needed is just a desire to play, try something new, and have a bit of fun!
The cost is £20 per workshop, and for the first workshop we are almost fully booked, there are 3 spaces left!
